Thermofeel: A python thermal comfort indices library

Abstract Here the development of python library thermofeel is described. was developed so that prominent internationally used thermal indices (i.e. Universal Thermal Climate Index and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) could be implemented into operational weather forecasting systems European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts) whilst also adhering to open research practices. This will benefit many sectors including meteorology, sport, health social care, hygiene, agriculture building. In addition, it in heat early warning which, with right preparedness measures, has potential save lives from extremes.
